Vostro 1550, driver issues

The network controller and sm bus controller are missing after installing the Windows7 on my Vostro 1550.

help me please!

Hi 

Ive just installed windows 7 pro and missing a couple of drivers.

I installed a few by myself but the rest seem to be the wrong ones.

Dell vostro 1550

Windows 7 pro 32bit

Network controller - PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_00121028&REV_01

PCI simple communications controller - PCI\VEN8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_05081028&REV_04

Please help! thanks!!

Hi there,


I am facing same kind of trouble with my Dell Vostro 1550 Network Controller and PCI Simple Communication Controller.

I am using Win 7 Ultimate 64bit Version

Following are the repective Device ID's:

Network Controller: PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_00121028&REV_01
PCI Simple Communication Controller: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_05081028&REV_04

Install the Intel Chipset and CPU drivers.

Then install the Dell Wireless 1701 – WLAN + BT driver:
