Vostro 5470 and N7260
Hello,
I am using Dell Vostro 5470 laptop and I really enjoy it. But currently (after upgrade to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8) I have a problem with WIFI. The problem is that sometimes a many packet are lost (and I have to reload page or the SSH connection to server is lost)). The problem is showed on the ping to the AP router (in the same time another device connected to the AP was working well, I have tried to disconnect all the devices or restarting AP). I have disabled the Wifi N mode to improving the fidelity of the connection, but it didnt helped
I was looking for solution on the Internet and there was written that this is well known problem with N7260 card. I have tried the new Intel drivers with Intel PRO set sw - it didnt helped. I have tried Dell drivers and it didnt helped. I have tried another Wifi AP and the issue still exists. My AP is Zyxel NBG4615 .
I don't know what to do, when the problem is well known issue. The laptop is still under the waranty.
Thank you for your reply.

I consider upgrading to Windows 8.1 a "new" installation of Windows, so you may want to read

Its better to clean install Windows 8.1 it'll perform much better than the upgrade via the store:

Thank you all for replies. I have downloaded drivers, but maybe I done it in invalid order. Now there is no problem with packet lost during ICMP ping test. But it is interesting, that after upgrading I have upgraded MyDell (now Support Assist) application ahd Dell Update and I hoped that applications will notify me to install the newest drivers. In addition to that I have tested original drivers from Intel which aren't working properly too.
So thank you.
