Want to upgrade the wireless network card

Question

I have an Intel 2011B wireless lan card on my Inspiron 4100 notebook and wish to upgrade from 11b to 11g as I have recently replace my 11b-router with a 11b-router.  Search through Dell web site and can't found any suit me.  Any suggestions or just Dell miss out this model because its too old?

Not at all sure what an Intel 2011B is (possibly you meant 2100??).  The Intel 2200 wireless card would work in the internal mini-PCI slot and it's on sale right now.

Get the Dell 1350 instead.  The 2200 has really terrible reception.

The 2200 I use in my 700m gives consistently better reception than the 1350 in that used in my wife's D600. I don't know if it's a function of the antenna or what, but I maintain 'excellent' reception and 54mb connection speed throughout our home, where the 1350 meanders between 'very good' and 'good' in exactly the same environment.

Thanks a lot.  I have upgrade my wireless card from Intel 2011B to 2200BG.  Everything seems fine.  I can connect to my AP quickly and my surfering to the internet seems faster than ever.

Help!  The wireless card seems going unstable recently.  It sometimes turn off itself and I can turn it on again (my Inspiron 4100 don't have an on/off switch for the wireless card).  It even can't startup at the next boot and sometimes I have to re-install the card to make it work again.  Is it the problem of the hardware or software.  Can anyone help?
