Where is my Dimension 4600 Ethernet Driver

Have a standard dimension 4600. It appears my ethernet driver is not installed. I have loaded the resource disk and installed the 10/100 software. No effect. I persumem it has to be this one as the other two are wirelss drivers.

I have uninstalled the piece of hardware and rebooted. After reboot the ethernet is detected and the driver searched for. No good either. I really just nned someone to point to the driver and name it and tell me how to install it. I have installed a couple of things so far but i still get the yellow exclamation mark beside the ethernet on the device manager.

PLEASE HELP. GOING INSANE

If you go into Device Manager, are there any other diveces listed as problem devices?  If so, which ones?  Did you recently reinstall Windows?  If so, did you install the chipset drivers as the first set of drivers installed after the reinstallation of Windows?  The chipset drivers are necessary before any device integrated on the motherboard can be properly installed.

Chipset drivers can be downloaded from:

Ethernet controller drivers from:

Have you tried uninstalling the network adapter, rebooting, then reinstalling the network adapter?  Have you tried running the diagnostics on the network adapter?
