Why can,t I access these web sites anymore
Hello,
I.m having trouble accessing
www.continental.com and
www.yell.com. The message "web page unavailable" appears. I thought it was maybe my McAfee firewall or anti-virus that was playing up so I completely uninstalled the 2 programmes and retried. Still no joy.
I know I have used these 2 sites previously because I have 1 of them in my favourites list.
Anybody help please

They seem to be working now. Try again.

Try Mozilla Firefox. (For two reasons: IE is junk except for a small handful of IE-only pages, and most of the power users on this forum are probably using Firefox and not IE.)
If the problem still persists: Does this only occur on one computer and not other ones on the same network (if any others)? Who is your ISP? Are you using a router?
It could be some sort of odd router failure/configuration problem, it could be a temporary ISP problem. (Sometimes ISPs will lose routing to some parts of the Internet. The routing scheme used by the Internet is SUPPOSED to recover from such failures and automatically route around them, but as the Internet has grown it has gone from a network designed to withstand nuclear attack to a network that sometimes fails under its own load and no external influence.)
