wierd networking prob on ispiron 6000
I just got a inspiron 6000 with the dell 1370 netowrk card in it. I then added a di524 d-link router. I was able to get both systems up and running with internet one wired one wireless, then I plugged in the ethernet cable to the laptop to purchase something and turned the wireless off, now my wireless will not work at home no matter what i try. I reset the router, I continually reconnect and nothing. It reads that the signal is there, but it only sayd limited signal or bad connection, when I plug the ethernet cable in it works fine. When I take the laptop to school it automatically finds the network there and logs right in and works fine. What is wrong at home then please help???

Did you enable any wireless security encryption on the router? If so, when you re-enabled the wireless card, did you also enter the encryption key so that you can connect to the router? If there is any doubt about this, temporarily disabled all wireless security settings on the router until you get things to work again, then go back in an re-enable the security settings and make your your wireless card configuration is consistent with the security settings on the router.
