Wifi Adapter Lost on Inspiron n5010 in Windows 8

I have started Recentley facing this problem.. I have 64 bit windows 8 inspiron n5010 laptop

Few days ago i had installed wifi hotspot software "Connectify Pro". After installation laptop was restarted, but it was not restarting and

stopped after dell inspiron logo So, I switched off 4 or 5 times directly, After that i was gone into safe mode and removed that software.

So laptop was started, but when i seen into connectivity there is no option of wifi, it is displaying only Data card and Broadband connection option.

Also in Wireless option not displaying Wifi. I had tried also Wifi key of keyboard bt its also not working.

Help me Please.

nilay_rupala,

I do not see Windows 8 64-bit drivers for this model.

Did you try the Vista 74-bit drivers in the Vista SP2 Compatibility mode or the Windows 7 64-bit drivers in the Windows 7 Compatibility mode?

When you installed the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

nilay_rupala,

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag, select your operating system, under network, look at previous versions, in the third column and click on it. Download the earliest version on the drivers you can find. Download the drivers and save them to your desktop.

Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, device manager, network adapters, right click on YOUR ADAPTER, left click uninstall. Tell it to remove the software and drivers.

Restart your computer. When you login, the new hardware wizard will try to install the adapter but fail. Install the drivers saved to your desktop.
