Wifi issue with my XPS

Hi,

We got our new XPS 13 (9350) and the wifi doesn't connect automatically. Each time I boot machine it requires me to reconnect to the wireless manually.

Any solutions?

Hi Siva,

I know these issues can be frustrating so lets see if we can help.   I'm assuming you're using Windows 10 on that new XPS 9350.   When you connect to a wireless network are you getting the option (usually a checkbox) to "Connect Automatically"?

Try this:

1. Click on the Wifi icon in the taskbar

2. Click on Manage WiFi Settings

3. Under Manage Known Networks click on the network you're having this issue with and click Forget

4. Restart your system

5. When the system is up and running click on the WiFi icon again and connect to the network (should be listed under Available Networks).

6. Make sure you click on "Connect Automatically" checkbox

7. Enter the security code / password (If any) and connect.

This should clear out the connection settings for that network and allow it to connect automatically going forward.   To better help me troubleshoot this issue please click on my Dell Todd username and send me a private message with the service tag of your XPS 9350.   Please keep all discussions and troubleshooting steps here in this public thread so that others, with the same issue, can see the steps needed to resolve.

Let me know if this works or if you're still having problems.

Todd
