Will I get better audio with Bluetooth 1.2

Hi.

I own the Logitech Mobile Freedom bluetooth headset. I use it in conjunction with my Dell laptop, that has Bluetooth built in. I also tried using it with a bluetooth usb dongle type thing from d-link. Both "work", but share the problem of inherent digital sounding noise in the audio going out of the headset. It seems to me that it could be interference from numerous wifi stations in the building. The headset is Bluetooth 1.2 complient, but both adaptors are 1.1. Now - "They" claime that 1.2 features frequency hopping.

So my question is: Will I get rid of digital interference if I go out and buy a bluetooth 1.2 dongle??

I should mention that I also use it with my mobile, and i don't have the same problems with the audio there. (Sorry, I don't know if the phone has 1.2 or not)
