Wireless and wired internet connections simultaneously

Hi,
First time user here. To the point. I have a wired and wireless network in my house using Linksys. I have 4 laptops, 3 wireless, 1 wired and a Dell 3110cn laser printer with wireless card.  Question: Is it ok to leave wireless activated on my XPS M1210 with the cat5 internet connected too?  All works as well as the wireless laserjet. Which internet is priority? Am I cable or wireless? Or both? No errors or iP conflicts etc. If I turn off wireless then I have to activate anytime I want to print.  I've searched all over for an answer.  Thanks in advance.
Andrew

i believe your question is if its ok to have your XPS connected both wired and wirelessly? if that's the question then the answer is yes, its ok. when both are connected then the higher speed connection i.e. your wired connection is the one that is active
