Welcome to this user forum! If everything is working fine, save the antenna for future use. Sometimes moving the computer far from the router would require an antenna to boost the signal. If you are directly plugged into the router you are not using wireless connectivity anyway. And if you are using wireless and it's working fine, you don't need an antenna.
