Wireless Card after reformat

Hey, so I have an Inspiron E1505 with XP Pro. I reformatted it and reinstalled all of the drivers off of the webpage. However, it does not seem to recognize my wireless networking card, which is the Dell 1390. Did I miss a step somewhere? Thanks.

I am having the same problem as above.

I have a Dell Latitude C610. I got my computer refurbished without any driver cd or information about what hardware is actually installed in it. Unfortunately, when I look at the original hardware configuration or do a scan of the current configuration on the Dell website, no wireless card comes up. However, I know I have a wireless card because I used it before I had to reformat the hard drive. Now the device just shows up unrecognized as "network controller" on "other devices" in device manager.

How can I figure out what wireless card I have and what driver to install?

This thread said to install the intel chipset driver, so i tried to do that but I'm not exactly sure I got the right one. I installed Intel 830 chipset --- I hope that's correct.

Please let me know if you can help at all!!!

Thanks,
