wireless card connecting, but internet not working
I recently got a Cisco Aironet 350 series wireless LAN card for my Linksys router. I enetered the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway in that Linksys gave me for the card. When I start up, it says the card is always connected. But when I open up Internet Explorer, it says the page is unavailable. I type in other websites, they all say the same thing. What can I do? The only way I can connect to the internet is through the ethernet port.

You say "I recently got a Cisco Aironet 350 series wireless LAN card for my Linksys router". Do you really mean that you got the card for your computer? Where and why did you enter an IP address. You would be better off if you set the TCP/IP prorperties to obtain an IP address automically. Please explain which instructions you are following and tell us which model router you have.

I have similar problems, but regarding the actual 1450 wireless card that came with the 510m.
Connectivity seems great, but no pages open on the browser.
It did work initially, but i think i may have messd up some settings, don't know how to sort them out.
Also, when i look at the config settings for the adapter, i notice that in the Advanced tab,the 802.11h property has different values than previously available. there was a 802.11b option available below, and now theres Disable, Loose or Strict :smileyindifferent:
Any ideas appreciated
