Wireless card not picking up signals
I've had my Inspiron 1300 for about 8 months, and wireless always worked perfect. Couple weeks ago I turned off the laptop to bring it upstairs to my room, and when I turned it on, wireless stopped working. It doesn't detect any signals from any routers (mine or neighbors).
What to do?

Please let me know which wireless card(with model number) you are using. I think you might be using the dell wireless card. You can check the type of card in device manager under network adapters, usually its the 3rd option under network adapters. Also let me know which router(with model number) are you using. Are you able to see ur network in the available networks list? If yes then how many signal strength bars to you see? If no then how far is your router from ur laptop ? Is ur laptop able to go online hardwired to your router ? How many comps are there wired or wireless thru the router. Please aswer these questions so that I can have a brief idea of the network and the issue you are facing, once I have all this information, i will let you know how you can resolve the issue. Dont worry, ur issue will definately be resolved. trust me !!! Just do the steps which i would be telling you. take care. do reply.
