wireless card not working in alienware m14x
had to reinstall windows because the upgrade to 8.1 wasn't working properly. everything seems to be working except the drivers to get wireless card or Ethernet to work. its a mid 2013 model m14x with i7-4700mq. i tried using the drivers from dell website saying they are not compatible. literally have been searching all day and night for drivers but have found nothing that works. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Ensure you install with the GPT partition scheme with a UEFI BIOS and SecureBoot enabled for best results. Follow the instructions to download and prepare Windows 8.1 installation media for a UEFI install:

Install deleting all the partitions on the drive:

After this is done provide the hardware IDs so I can identify any variants in your system and tell you the correct drivers:
