Wireless phones on 2.4ghz can interfere with the wireless 802.11b and g.  Moving the phones away from the computers and the wireless router or Access Point will solve it, as also will using a higher channel for your wireless like 11.

I've never really noticed any problems with my 2.4ghz phone and 2.4ghz (802.11b) wireless home network.  While the potential for problems does exist I feel like it shouldn't be the biggest determining factor in what you buy.  2.4ghz devices offer a lot of benefits that things in the 5ghz and 900mhz bands can't provide as far as range and clarity go.  Ultimately though, what you should get kinda depends on your location and layout.

Right, and then keep the phone or phone base away from the wireless router and computers.  Also if you have a computer with a 2.4ghz cpu, keep it away from the router also.
