wireless connection help

Question

Hello, I recently got a router and it is showing limited or no connection. I got the keycode put in (I believe) the correct places. Any idea why it giving me this problem?   Router is Linksys and card is Belkin using Belkin software for the desktop.   This is not the first time I have had this problem. I did have this problem with both Belkin in my desktop and my Dell laptop.   Thanks for any input Kimberly Sorry this posting is not very detailed. The forum blocked half of what I wanted to say. What type of 'keycode' are you using?

Hi, How many characters does your keycode have? What type of encryption key is used? ASCII or HEX? Are you using passphrase? Rgds Best-Try

Hello, I turned off the software that came with the wireless desktop card and used what comes with windows and now it is working fine. (knock on wood)
