Wireless Connection on my Inspiron e1705
Im a member of the United States army and Im currently deployed to Iraq, so needless to say I dont really use my wireless capabilities that much. Im home on leave for two weeks and crashing at a friends place so Im trying to connect to his wireless network. My laptop will connect to the network fine but within 2 mins the connect begins to degrade until its down to 5.5mbps or less. Occasionally the connection will return to 54 but will soon after begin to degrade again.
If I directly connect to the router with a cat-5 cable (like i am now) the connection is perfect.
I have a Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. Router that im connecting to is a Netgear RangeMax Wireless Router model WPN824v2.
Im still able to access the internet, browsing various websites and such. Any help on how to keep my connection stable would be awesome.
