Question

how much speed will i loose going wireless and sharing with 4 computers?  my average download kbps is around 4000 with one desktop hooked straight up to the standard dsl router..   bones

In general, the speed is limited by your ISP and the 54 Mbps speed of standard wireless networks is far faster than the limit set by your ISP (in your case 4 Mbps).  So, you shouldn't see much of a difference.   Steve

and of course if all 4 computers access the Internet at once, your broadband bandwidth is shared and divided between your computers.
