Wireless icon in the system tray has desapeared

Following upgrade to version 3.100.41.0 of the WLAN Wireless utily and driver version 3.100.35.0 the icon in the system tray has desapeared.

I checked in the Wireless Utility and the the option is ticked.

Everything seems to be working OK on the wireless and WLAN side, I have upgraded not because I had problems but because I normaly like to have it with the last software loads.

Thanks in advance. BetoX

The OS no longer detects the wireless hardware. Try to roll back to see if it is still there.

What do you mean by "OS"? Do you mean the Windows? I have Windows 2000 version 5.00.2195 SP4.

You recomend to go back to what version of WLAN Wireless utility and driver? and if so, from where I can download it?

Thanks again for your answer. BetoX

I'm having the same issue. I upgraded to the latest version of the Wireless NIC drivers, and now the system tray icon doesn't appear. It worked properly up until I upgraded. Everything else still works fine. The wireless network works properly, and if I go into the utility, I can see the signal strength etc., I just can't get the signal strength icon in the system tray to work. The appropriate box is checked in the control panel.
