Wireless keeps getting kicked off when on video sites
Hello!
My problem seems to be that whenever I go to a video sites (sometimes even youtube) or I get on the Itunes store or download something, the wireless will get kicked off my laptop. I will them run a repair, but it will tell that either the problem cannot be fixed and/or to disconnect the router for 10 seconds. When I do, it will sometimes work perfectly again (unless I go to said video website) or it will say that I am connected to an unidentified network, but even then it will not let me on the internet. If the latter happens, I have to re-do the router thing again or turn off and on my wireless pick up slide. I have also tried to update my drivers for the wireless, but it says that windows says that it is already up to date.
This is a recent problem that started in May.
My laptop is only a year and a half old, and it's a Dell XPS. The router is a netgear. I am running Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
Thanks!

Is it an Intel 5300 AGN wireless card? If so, this is an extremely common problem all across the board. Lenovo also has extensive threads on this problem. I myself have tried 8 (yes 8) wireless routers, and all kick my computer off about 4 times in 5 minutes depending on how heavily I'm downloading. I've also tried many different driver sets, but all to no avail.

Thanks for replying. :) Thats crazy that 8 routers haven't worked...geez...
I have a Intel Wirelss 4965 AGN card....Are those known to be as faulty as the 5300AGN wireless cards?
