wireless network adapter driver for inspiron 1501

Hi,

I re-installed windows xp on the laptop because it was very slow due to virus/malware. Now I have a problem with the wireless card. When I open network connections, it wont show up the wireless card. On device manager under other devices, I see Network Controller with  yellow question mark. I right clicked and uninstalled and then install the driver from dell web site. When the driver finish installing, the found new hardware wizard pop-ups and it says canot find the driver!!! When I check with my service tag, this is what I found.

1 JR356 Card, Wireless, Minicard, DW1395 4312BG

which I assume may be the wireless network card on my computer. Where can I find the driver for this card. How can I get my wireless internet to work. Please help.

Thanks,

Joshy

I am the one originally posted this issue and none of the answers worked. Finally I contacted dell support and afther they tried for like an hour they finally figured out the driver!!!!. Ok, if your's is dell wireless mini wlan card 1395, then this is the one worked for me and you could make a try.

From the list select the file 193564.exe and download and install it. Make sure you go to device manager and delete the yellow devices(devices that don't have the right driver) so the new driver installs correctly.

Install the drivers in order by running the specified executable file for each folder (eg. R123456)  listed below:

 - 1 - Notebook System Software (R134838) - setup.exe

 - 2 - Base System Device (R141246) - DPInst.exe

 - 3 - SM Bus Controller (R134875) - setup.exe

 - 4 - Video Controller (R168684) - issetup.exe

 - 5 - Ethernet Controller (R149798) - setup.exe

 - 6 - PCI Device (R171789) - First run R171789 (setup.exe). Once completed the system will now ask for a driver for a "High Definition Audio Device." This is under R114200 (Setup.exe).

 - 7 - Network Controller - First run R151519 (is.exe) and then run R174291 (is.exe)
