Wireless Network Connection 2 "Not Connected"

Recently unable to connect to WIFI location that I've been using w/ Del Inspiron 8600 True Mobile 1300 WLAN mini-PCI card Rev 4.5.

Radio is enabled & shows strong signal. Using ZoneAlarm which was recently updated. Tried turning off ZoneAlarm Firewall; but still no connection.

Network Connection shows "Wireless Network Connection 2 LAN or High Speed Internet not connected".

Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

To help troubleshoot this problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

You ran the command while you were connected to the internet by dialup.  Did you run the command while you were within range of the wireless network that you normally connect to?  If not, you need to do it where you normally can connect, otherwise it doesn't help in troubleshooting the problem.

Hi Steve: Was able to get connected at coffee shop. Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility > Wireless Networks > Available Networks The Available networks had two networks with the same name ( 1764 0600 ). When they where both deleted from there and from Preferred Networks which eliminated conflicts and the connection was made. Then ZoneAlarm new popup appeared and the network was named and all was OK. At home I pickup a radio signal from a neighbor and the name is also 1064 0600. Solution, I guess, is to turn of radio when leaving coffee shop. All best, & Thanks
