Wireless Network Disconnects after IDle
Hello, I didn't know which section to post this under, but this seems like the most relevant to my problem.
I have a dell E1705 and its wirelessly connected to a Lynksis router.
While I'm using the computer everything is fine, but when I leave it to download files overnight, the connection gets disconnected at sometime during the night, when I touch any button it connects again within seconds.
I have looked at the power options:
Its only set to shut down the monitor after 2 min, everything else is set to Never shut down.
I have looked at other connection settings to see if theres something like "Disconnect/Power off wireless after certain idle time" but couldn't find it.
Could it be my router kicking me off after my connection being idle for a set time?(even though it doesn't make sense, because the files are downloading (no upload data???))
Has anybody encountered something like this before?
Thanks in advance
Kirill
