Wireless network not detected.

I have just bought an Inspiron laptop and Belkin FSD7632-4 modem/router. For a couple hours I was able to connect to the Internet wirelessly. I then shut everything down. When I returned later the Internet connection was lost. I tried re-entering settings via the 192.168.2.1 Belkin setup page in Internet Explorer but this didn't work. The wireless connection then disappeared. The PC can no longer connect to the router over Ethernet either. When I try to go back to the Belkin setup page in Internet Explorer it now says that it cannot connect to it. I wasn't supplied with a manual for the Belkin - can anyone help?

There is a small button on the back (next to the power receptacle.)

Press this and hold it for 10 seconds.

This will reset your router to factory defaults, at which point, you should be able to start once again and connect via the ethernet cable to begin your configuration settings.

The only thing I can think of off hand, is that your router "locked up."  After you get it back, go to the Belkin site and get the latest firmware update.  This may help keep this from recurring.

Best of Luck
