Wireless networking
I recently gained 3 poweredge servers, models 1400SC, SC1420 and 1800. I thought that a sensible upgrade would be to fit wireless network cards as an initial move to upgrading to more current working specs (the intention being to sell to my accountancy client base). Does anyone have any practical experience of whether this is achievable and whether the servers work perfectly well as wireless networks.

I haven't tried outfitting PowerEdge servers with wireless adapters, but my guess would be that any USB-type adapter would work. Generally people prefer their servers to be on a hard-wired / Ethernet connection for the best availability and throughput but wireless should work as well.
