wireless signal drops
I keep dropping my wireless connection. I have tried a new wireless card and new wireless router. I do not have a cordless phone and my laptop is in direct view of my router. I've talked to Dell tech support twice and still no fix. It drops its connection on average once every 5 minutes. It makes my wireless connection useless. I have to keep going in and repairing the connection. The connection is flawless when wired to the router. I have a Dell Inspiron 600m w/ intel Pro/ Wireless 2200BG network connection,
driver ver. 9.0.2.31,linksys wireless -g router w/ speedbooster. I've updated the drives for the wireless card and updated the firmware on the router. Also run winsockxpfix. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

This problem is normaly caused by the windows firewall even if you have disabled the windows firewall some features remain enabled go to control panel click on firewall click on the advanced tab then untick all the check boxes I am certain this will fix your problem
