Wirelss Cards Issue by using WEP
Inspiron E1405 Dual Core
intel® PRO 3945 and Dell 350 Bluetooth Internal Wireless Cards
I can not setup wirelss network connection by using WEP 64-bit, Shared Key, so please help me out! But it can work by using WPA. Thanks!

don't use a passphrase to generate the key on the client or the host -- sometime's they produce different key values.
lastly, why even bother with WEP 64?

yes, it's worthless. anyone who knows how to use a packet sniffer and is going to take the time to look at your network traffic (which is what WEP prevents) is going to know how to crack it in a matter of minutes.
if you simply want to deny access to your neighbors, just use mac filtering. it's equally worthless as a security measure but will stop people who lack a clue and will not be as hard for you to setup.
