WPA2 with 1390 Card

I'm running a E1505 laptop with Win XP SP3.  The WPA2 patch for SP2 is supposed to be in SP3.  When I try to connect to a WPA2 network, I don't even get WPA2 as a protocol option and as a result I can't connect. I'm using the Dell wireless utility to manage the network connections.  Any Ideas?  Thanks Much

WPA2 does not show up as an option, then I would suggest you run the patch.

When I attempt to run the SP2 WAP2 patch, the installer tells me I have a newer version (because I have SP3) and dumps without installing.

What happens if you try to set up the adapter using window wireless zero to manage the card instead of  the dell software.

Well you are correct in that according to this the fix should have been installed with SP3. You might try going to Start/Programs/Windows update and see if all has been updated correctly.

WPA2 needs driver support as well ... so update those if you haven't.  I also second using WZC instead of the dell utility.
