XPS L702X no internet connectivity

Hello!

So yesterday my Dell XPS 15 L702X laptop was working just fine and then this morning I open it up and I have no internet connectivity, whatsoever, not even when I plug the ethernet cable directly in.

-I uninstalled the automatic updates that took place last night, no change.

-I updated the drivers.

-I flushed the DNS cache.

-I made an "Admin" user, logged on, still nothing.

-I cycled the modem.

-When I run a ping test it says "No response: default gateway, DHCP" server.

I know the internet is working because I'm writing to you on another laptop which is connected just fine. I'm running a full scan on McAfee but as of yet there are no results. I tried to connect to other wireless accounts with no success.
