Boot the computer in Safe Mode with Networking and try using the wireless.
(Keep tapping F8 when the system is booting up and choose the option)
If the error doesn't happen there, it is one of the background programs is causing this.

If it happens there also, then the WZC service might have got corrupted. You can reinstall it by following these steps
Goto Start - Control Panel - Network Connections.
Right click on Wireless network connections icon - Select Properties.
Click Install - Service - Add - Have Disk
Click Browse to C:\Windows\INF\netwzc.inf - Click OK.
Click OK / Close on the Wireless network properties window.

Restart the computer.

Hi DJ,

Thanks for the info.  I finally got a chance to reinstall that application and it still does it.  The application though was under c:Windows/ServicePakFiles/i386/netwzc.inf  I have tried rebooting the computer 3 times now and also have re-installed the application and it still hapens.

Just wondering if there is anything else to try?

Well tried it today in Safe Mode and it doesn't happen there.  It actually doesn't allow me to start my Intel Wireless Pro program.  It just locks up.
