Cancel order
I need to cancel order, I refuse to pay $69.00 for shipping when I will not receive the computer until Jan. 14. I also found a better product, so therefore I need to cancel this order. How do I go about doing this?

You MUST contact "customer support" to cancel an order. Can't do it online. You should also edit your post and remove your order number.
Edit: now that you have removed the order number from the subject line I cannot seem to edit the order number out of the subject line on my reply to you. I will ask for assistance of others in remedying this.

Hi drivers73,
I have cancelled your order but I will also have to remove your post. It is a Terms of Service violation. Please feel free to private message me if you have any other questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
quimbee

Hi Debbie G. I have noticed that you have been extremely helpful to other users here, so i thought i would try. I placed an order on December 1st for 2 mini's for Christmas-due to a processing error the order was delayed then cancelled then reordered with a ship date of 1/5. I already found something else. Tje order has not shipped but customer service is saying the order is too far in production to cancel. Please help-this process has been very painful-i've never had these problems with Dell. Thanks

I have had the same problem. I ordered a Studio on 6th Dec as a works replacement for defective unit. I was promised this by Christmas as it was needed fro business trip just after Christmas. I had no communication from Dell and when I phoned or emailed they were ignored. I tried to cancell but no response. I then had an email with some lame excuse about the machine having to be tweeked to get it to work. Who wants an expensive tweeked machine. I have had to go and by another machine as I still have not received the laptop yet. Over all an experience that I will not want to go through again. Hey whats the after sales service like if you cannot get a before service. Truely dissappointed.

So, the dell moderators can delete my message also saying for THE 6TH TIME i want to cancel my order....but they DIDN'T ACTUALLY CANCEL IT?
What is going on over there? I guess they care a lot about sales and their image...avoiding shipping unwanted goods, not so much.

Hi Debbie G, I cant figure out how to message you. Ironically, just after you responded, I received an email stating my order was shipped. Now I am wondering-should i refuse the order or accept it and then return it? Is it the same thing? Thanks!

I ordered some memory from the Dell site and not told that it wasn't going to ship for a couple weeks. I will be out for town for 2 months starting about the time it will ship and not likely to be home when it arrives. I called customer service and they said that it was from a 3rd party supplier so I could not cancel the order. I was told I had to wait for it to arrive or be sent back in the event that I was not home. Can you help me with this. I ordered it on line in the "hot sellers" link and there was no mention about it taking this long until it was too late. That can't be good customer service. If you contact me I can give you the case # and the order #.

Debbie G. I wrote about trying to cancel the memory order - never mind. I just got notice it was shipped on 1/05 - this is after I tried to canclel the order once I found out they wern't going to ship it until 1/19. I have purchased what I needed from another vendor so I will have to return what Dell sends. My next challengs will be to avoid the 15% restocking fee and return shipping cost. Not a lot of money involved but what a hassel - I tried to cancel the day after the order. I should have been able to cancel because it didn't even ship until almost a week after the order. I have bought 3 Dell computers but after this I am going to have to think twice about Dell.

I'm sorry for the hassel but if you are home you can refuse the order. If you are unable to refuse the order but still want to return it, please message me with your Dell order number. I'm happy to help.
