Cannot Insert Hyperlinks or Images in Posts

Question

The buttons to insert hyperlinks and images have disappeared from the menu bar of the WYSIWYG editor.

I think only elevated Ranks can see the source code. I have asked the Rockstars to check.

All users can see the "Drop files here, or browse". I checked by switching user to Rookie.

I have asked the team which file types are allowed.

TXT, WMV, JPG, PNG, TIFF, WEB-P, GIF, PDF

Note: The creator of GIF Steve Wilhite stated, "The Oxford English Dictionary accepts both pronunciations. They are wrong. It is a soft ‘G,’ pronounced ‘jif.’ End of story.".

I can see all the buttons on the WYSIWYG editor menu bar again except the "< >" (More Options"?) button and was able to insert hyperlinks and a .png picture in a post I created today.

I don't know if this is something new or if I just haven't it noticed before, but there's a button labelled "Drop files here, or browse" below the WYSIWYG editor if I'm logged in to the forum. Is this feature supposed to be used for uploading and attaching additional files (e.g., .txt, .log, .pdf, etc.) that cannot be inserted into the WYSIWYG editor as an image, and if so are those uploaded files viewable by everyone, or just Forum Admins and/or Tech Experts?

NOTE: I've attached a file named TEST.txt to test this feature.

The WYSIWYG editor seems to be working correctly again so I'll mark this topic as solved._____________________________________________________________ Note: One of the best-known differences between British and American English is the fact that the sport known as football in Great Britain is usually called soccer in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Because the sport originated in England, it is often assumed that soccer is an Americanism. In fact, the word is thoroughly British in origin.  Modern soccer originated in 19th-century England, where it was initially codified and distinguished from rugby. The game was formally named 'association football', which British university students playfully shortened and nicknamed 'soccer'.
