digital or analog

hi im new and my first question is i just recived ad dell ultrasharp 2208wfp flat panel monitor. My question is I recived 2 diffrent cables to hook up but i must use only one. I will play games very rare I use it more for drawings with corel and banking which one is the best to use digital cable or the analog cable ???? thank you in advance
