dimension 3000 side panel removal stuck
I pushed the panel remove latch down, but the side panel will not slide to back for removal. I appears that there is something holding it at the upper part of the panel.
The cpu cooling fan brakcet is loose and flopping around inside. I am sure that it is shorting out the mobo. Has anyone experienced a stuck side panel before?

Hi, jpmorgas:
This is one of those problems that pretty much impossible to solve via an internet forum. I personally have never had a problem removing the panel from the side of my Dim 3000. My only suggestion is to lay the case on its side to remove the panel.
I have never heard of a CPU cooling fan bracket being loose and causing a short on the motherboard. So if you manage to get inside, please let me know what you find. It's possible something else has become loose. I'm wondering if your Dim 3000 case hasn't taken some jostling around or other abuse with all of the problems youo're having.
