Opening attachments
Hi. Please be patient as I am new to all this! My son recently installed Mozzilla Firefox and CC cleaning onto my pc and now I cannot open hardly any attachments? I have uninstalled firefox but there is no change. All I get is a box telling me that there is not a programme associated with the file and I am to go to the Set Associations control panel, which I cannot find! Do you think that Firefox has anything to do with the problem or is it something else? Thank you.

It is not hard to set the file association to open a specific program, but the question here is what type of program are you trying to open that does not have the correct file assocaition? Are you running Vista or XP? and what types of files are not opening? Firefox install/removal should not have messed with the file associations, but anything is possible.
