Order Cancellation

It seems this is a bugaboo for many Dell shoppers...

I recently, in an attempt to price check a purchase, inadvertently purchased a television??  Most (95%) of websites have a confirmation page so I thought Dell would.. apparently it doesn't, perhaps by design.  In any event, so I make the order and then,  Ihave to call the closed call center to cancel it?  So now, there's the (likely) probable chance that the order doesn't get canceled? Dell really should work on getting this resolved; I regularly shop on other retailers sites with altogether better online shopping experiences due to things such as these.
