Ordered a computer over 2 months ago.
I ordered a Zino computer 2 months ago and the estimated delivery date is now Feb. 16th. I was initially promised a ship date of two weeks after the initial order but it has been delayed 6 times now. Every 5 or 6 days I'm promised I will have it only to receive another delay notice. I don't think this is the appropriate place for this, but the customer service everywhere else has been TERRIBLE. Literally god awful.
Every email and phone call resulted in the same information the "Order Status" page provided. Zero new or relevant information. They look at the delivery date and promise me I will have it at that time. They lie. Every email is this exact response.
"This is with regard to the letter we received concerning your Dell order # 9849XXXXXX. As discussed, the new estimated delivery date is the 16th February’10. We truly regret any inconvenience or frustration this matter may have caused."
"Managers" give me the same information. I'm so close to canceling my order out of principle but I want my darn computer. I think I'm owed a coupon or something at this point or AT LEAST, a solid ship date. I just want someone to type something. Don't cut and paste a response.
Does anyone know who I can speak to?

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:
You're no doubt aware that these are community forums - rather than official Dell support forums?
For that reason, there's nothing we can do to help you, unfortunately :emotion-6:
Other than continuing to badger them via the official support options, your only other alternative, is to try the 'Unresolved Issues' link at the very bottom centre of this page, to see if you can get the problem escalated?
Good luck!

Yes, I'm aware. Sorry to bother everyone. It's just I've pretty much exhausted my options and was hoping maybe someone of osme importance would see it here. Thanks for the advice though.

I know it is frustrating. But the you owe me attitude makes you look just as bad. Delays happen. Just like any business the job can have interferance, such as a fire or a contracted company running out of stock on a componant you need, etc. I recommend waiting for it but in the end everything you are going through is your choice. You have the choice to be understanding and wait patiently or you can choose be impatient and cancel the order. Both of which I respect in this situation, but being impatient and complaining and not cancelling the order and wanting something for your inconvenience is very selfish since you are making the choice to continue on.
I know people normally expect orders to go smoothly so when they don't than you feel cheated and agravated. I would be upset too. But you have no idea why there is a delay. You could be complaining and wanting a coupon while a building full of dell workers had the roof drop on them. So please be patient and for the love of god, lose the you owe me attitude...it drives me nuts.
PS. I do not work for Dell.

They do owe me. They lie to me once a week about when I'm going to get the stupid thing.
