Pop Up Boxes on Screen

I have 3 different boxes that pop up on my screen any time, no matter what I'm doing or what screen I'm on, even the sign-on screen.  One is a larger box that's entitled DELL     E153FP, has a black background and has icons for each of the items on the list inside the box.  The list is:  Exit, Positioning, Image Settings, Color Settings, OSD Settings, Language, Factory Settings.  The mouse won't work on the box, the F keys don't seem to work on it and the Alt or Ctl with letters you'd normally use don't work, either.  I've tried everything.  It sticks around, covering up whatever you're working on until it feels like going away, then may pop right back up or stay away for awhile, or it's friends may pop up, instead.  The other two boxes are less complicated.  One is a much smaller box with a picture of a locked padlock and the other is the same size picture of an unlocked padlock.  They don't seem to be quite as persistent as the bigger box, but they seem to show up when the EP153FP does.  My grandchildren will try to play a game on the computer and will usually give up because they get so frustrated with these boxes getting in their way.  Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them?  Thanks a bunch for any help you can give.

Hi Amesknits

Assuming the flat screen monitor (model E153FP) is correctly connected to computer graphics card port(s) & the problem has just recently started?

Then either someone has accidentally pushed the buttons on the flat screen monitor or there is a problem with the monitor or graphics card/video drivers?

You can’t use keyboard & mouse to make any changes to flat screen monitor settings, you need to use the buttons located on the front of flat screen monitor, for example OSD (On Screen Display)

The padlock you describe is associated with OSD lock options, + button (Yes) or - button (No)
