Unable to open attachments
I have had a problem with Internet Explorer 8 and Windows mail using Vista. Periodically I get a message 'unable to open attachment' when I try to open an attachment in mail.
When I delete all the files in %temp% and shut down and restart Mail the ploblem usually goes away. When the problem occurs I usuallly find a file name PPRclui.XXXX
which windows will not allow me to delete. Has anyone else experieced this problem?

I am having a problem with opening email attachments also. I use Yahoo mail and when I try to open an attachment I get a dialog box saying the internet connection has stopped working, then a second dialog box saying "Data Execution Prevention" has closed the internet connection to protect my computer. I then get a third dialog box saying a pop up blocker has prevented the attachment from opening. I have added Yahoo mail to the allowed sites on my pop up blocker, which did not help. I have turned off the pop up blocker and the "DEP" neither of which helped. Anyone else having this problem?
