Win 7 Upgrade Coupons
I am ready to buy a Studio 17 just as soon as I know I will get a coupon for an upgrade to Win 7. When will they be available? Thanks Nick

We are not Dell employees, just users helping users. But, if it's like Vista it won't be until a month or so before Windows 7 is officially released.

More info on Win 7. I got this from a web news site today.
Microsoft Corp. says Windows 7, the next version of its computer operating software, will go on sale Oct. 22.
Windows 7, which replaces the much-complained-about Windows Vista, will be available on new PCs. Microsoft, the world's largest software maker, will also sell versions that people can install on existing PCs.
Upgrades will be free for people who buy a new Windows Vista computer shortly before Windows 7 arrives, though Microsoft did not say when the upgrade program begins. Microsoft also didn't say how much Windows 7 will cost.
