ObjectScale Multirack Trafficflow

Hello,

Currently, I'm reading the "Dell ObjectScale Best Practices" and I'm a little confused about the traffic flow in case of multirack. As far as I understand it, inter-rack traffic must go through customer infrastructure.

I'm wondering if there's any way I can drive the traffic between internodes ("east to west") without using customer network infrastructure ?

If i use physical connection between ToR switches of each then config will be possible ?
