ObjectScale Multirack Trafficflow

Question

Hello, Currently, I'm reading the 'Dell ObjectScale Best Practices' and I'm a little confused about the traffic flow in case of multirack. As far as I understand it, inter-rack traffic must go through customer infrastructure. https://infohub.delltechnologies.com/en-us/l/dell-objectscale-best-practices/production-network-26/ I'm wondering if there's any way I can drive the traffic between internodes ('east to west') without using customer network infrastructure ? If i use physical connection between ToR switches of each then config will be possible ?

With using the best practies guide we layout the best performance and settings that are recommended for configuration. Now if you use want to configure your system differently than we have in our guide, then you can get different performance and error messages.
