5050 SFF CPU Fan Upgrade / Replacement
Hi guys,
I'm looking replace the fan/heatsink on my 5050 SFF. Rather than get a used replacement I've been looking at the low profile offerings from Arctic, specifically from the Alpine 12 series.
Any thoughts? There shouldn't be any issues should there?

5050 SFF motherboard heatsink is directly screwed on threaded studs of the case mounting tray.
the push on heatsink you are thinking of would not work. watch this video at end of play. Dell Optiplex 5050 SFF Teardown - YouTube
only low profile aftermarket cooler that is screwed on without back plate and uses same screw thread may work.
