7010 DT, Third drive installation
Hi,
I currently have two hard drives (3.5" & 2.5") installed in the caddy on my Dell Optiplex 7010 Desktop & I am looking to add a third drive (SSD) by disconnecting the Optical Drive & using it's SATA/Power connections. I have noticed that there slots in the desktop framework (exactly the same width as a 3.5" drive) underneath the Optical Drive enclosure, so I am assuming there is some sort of caddy or metal enclosure that fits in there, but I can't find anything in the manual or online about it.
Can anyone please help me, or point me in the right direction ?
Many Thanks,
Justin.

No Worries, I've sorted it.
Found a metal 2.5" to 3.5" mounting bracket on eBay for £2, used the 3 mounting screws from a CD/DVD drive & it slots in the Optiplex frame a treat (although I did have to shave the ends of the mounting bracket slightly so that it missed the USB facia plate, but apart from that it fits perfectly underneath the CD/DVD drive, & even locks into the frame with the CD/DVD drive release lever.
