7040 OptiPlex Motherboard Specs
I own a Dell OptiPlex motherboard which is the same model as this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295643343798 but I can't seem to find any specs about it online and I can't test it currently as I don't have a compatible CPU at the moment. I would like to know all the specs of this motherboard i.e. the chipset, m.2 support, etc.

@Swarailia ball , while your question was for a 7040 mini tower, the link was to a 5040 motherboard, hence the confusion it may cause.
Differences between 5040 and 7040 are max RAM 16 GB of DDR3L vs. 64 GB of DDR4 memory. Legacy ports are optional on 5040. Everything else is the same.
The system specifications and user manual for a 7040 was provided by JOcean. But your machine is not the same model as linked.

The specs can be found in the service manual here. Crucial here has various sizes of compatible SSD here. And I am assuming you have the mini tower form factor looking at the MB.

@JOcean I'm not quite sure if this is the model I'm looking for, as it has DDR4 rather than the DDR3 that's on my motherboard. Is everything else the same though?
