Adding additional drive 3040
i have a 3040 i want to additional HDD or SSD tray only room for SSD what options are available also only have power cable for ssd and DVd R no additional plugs

Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.

Hi
Item 10 is an M.2 socket1 connector. Other than that there is no connector I can see.
Of course if you have a different model .......

Hello @Dandare1 , it's very likely that you have an OptiPlex 3040 SFF (small form factor). To add another HDD or SSD, you can use a dual drive caddy, part number 09M3YR. It will allow you to install two 2.5" HDD or SSD. For power, you can use SATA power splitter cable, part number 0247PN. See example picture below.
