That's not a Dell system service tag -- are you sure it's a Dell system?

A Dell serial number is 20 digits. For example a Dell U3415W monitor serial number looks like = CN068MCF7426155N07AL
A Dell Optiplex should have a label on the rear with a bar code. That label should show the private Service Tag and private Express Service Code.
