Aio 7440 with second screen not booting

Question

I have something very strange. My dell 7440 AIO works perfectly. When logged in windows if i plug in my second screen by displayport everything wroks great. However, if i shut down my pc. Next reboot gives black screens. Does not start up. I have to remove second screen and pull out power off the 7440. After plugging it back in and keeping the second screen disconnected, it starts up again. Any ideas?

What happens if you keep the second screen powered off and connected to dell 7440 AIO via DP, then power on dell 7440 AIO only?

usually during post pc uses most basic video driver to one monitor only. In bios some pc has setting to choose which monitor post video goes to. Your issue seems to be that neither monitor gets any video during post if both dell 7440 AIO and second screen are powered on.
