BIOS Dell optiplex 5050

Hello, after updating the bios of Dell optiplex 5050 <To protect you, your private information was removed from public view. All private data was saved to your private Case. DELL-Admin> it started to say at startup that the TPM module was not detected. It is also not available in the bios to be turned on or off. I have tried all sorts of options to fix the problem, but to no avail. According to AI, I need a specific BIOS update file that I can only get from you.

The computer is an OptiPlex 5050 Small Form Factor. Everything that is described on the site has been tried and is without result. Please help. I am looking for an official email to write directly to Dell but I can't find it.

@Nidlle

Reboot, keep on Clicking F2, get in to BIOS settings and select TPM enabled, as well BIOS downgrade allowed, apply changes, reboot.>

Method 4: Updating Using a USB Flash Drive

This method is beneficial for users running Ubuntu or other Linux operating systems, or when Windows is not accessible. Additionally, you can use this method to update the BIOS directly from the One Time Boot Menu on compatible systems.

  1. Prepare a USB Flash Drive: Format the USB drive as FAT32.
  2. Download the BIOS Update File: Save the update file to the USB drive.
  3. Access the Boot Menu: Restart your computer and press F12 to access the One Time Boot Menu.
  4. Choose BIOS Update: Choose the BIOS Update option from the One Time Boot Menu.
  5. Select the USB Drive: Plug in the USB drive, choose Flash from file (or the three dots), navigate the File Explorer and select the BIOS update file and then click Update BIOS and follow the prompts.

If downgraded (flashed) and (back) upgraded BIOS will give the same error, that'll be windows installation/ configuration / corruption issue

God forbid, during the (long) time BIOS flashing will take and you'll turn the computer off or unplug the lead etc- once/ IF BIOS does become corrupt- "lottery" to be able to replfash it (several layers to get to the core)

Fresh OS reinstall will be required, NOBODY via email or on a phone is going to be able to help you with that, as have several ("block"- layers) of safety on the actual chip on MoBo, so nobody could easily corrupt it remotely ONLY to learn, if BIOS is going to accept new OS install configuration.

Considering your M$ Office skills, I'd highly recommend taking it to a local shop or find a geek, that would do it for you, in your your presence.
