Can not install WLAN driver for Optiplex 980

Any reason why you are installing the driver now?

I installed the windows 7 on it and found that wifi driver is not there. So I am trying to install that.

it has no Wifi card unless it does, it was an option new a card inside, look there yet> for a card.

or run HWinfo32.exe free and see if one is there that way, there are only 3 ways, look and run this.

• look with eyes
• run Hwinfo32.exe free and safe. see?
• the driver told you it is not there, why not believe it?

You said wifi and not wlan, 3/4/5g cards, so is not wireless 3G you want wifi, and they are NOT THE SAME>

it is not wide area lan,  just wifi. wide area is 3G.

it supports all these dell cars and BROADcom chipsets.

so the error you saw means missing or wrong card in place. below.

what I do if wifi not hated so much (me) we use it for  3G backup  here, only. WIRED RULES !

no laptops no need for wifi me.

I buy a real AC1200 card PCI - that has nice antennas external and run that. for $20
